Epiphone_Les_Paul Standard_guitar_pack

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard All Access beginner set is, quite simply, one of the best beginner electric guitar sets that you can buy. It is definitely on the more expensive side at $649, but it also comes with a truly exceptional electric guitar. In fact, the Les Paul Standard is so phenomenal that it makes the very nice extras seem ho-hum in comparison. This package includes a 15-watt amp, 20 foot cable, digital tuner, and headphones, and comes in numerous show-stopping finishes.

Epiphone Les Paul 100 Review

Epiphone Les Paul 100

The Epiphone Les Paul 100 is one of the middle-children of the Epiphone Les Paul line, and it offers some of the best value for money of any electric guitar. This build quality is excellent, and this guitar features a Mahogany body and a bolt-on Mahogany neck with chrome hardware. The look of this guitar is stunning, and it comes in numerous different sunbursts, which all look beautiful. The best part of this guitar, however, is the absolutely pure sound.

Epiphone Les Paul Special II Review

Epiphone Les Paul Special II - Heritage Cherry Sunburst

The Epiphone Les Paul Speical II is the single best electric guitar that you are going to find under $200. This Les Paul has many of the same qualities that make it’s bigger brother one of my favorite guitars at any price. Epiphone made this guitar with an eye towards quality and you can feel it when you first pick up the guitar. This guitar features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and the standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard that graces other Les Pauls. This guitar is truly a beautiful guitar to look at, and it sounds great too!

Epiphone SG-Special Review

Epiphone SG-Special Electric Guitar

The Epiphone SG-Special is one of Epiphone’s guitars in the $200 and under price range. This solid-body electric guitar looks amazing and features a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard and a three-way pickup selector. When first picking up this guitar, I was impressed by how solid and well-built it felt. This guitar has many similarities to the Les Paul Special II when it comes to the mechanical parts, but the styling of the body is much more aggressive. There are some big positives to this guitar.

Epiphone Dot Studio Review

Epiphone Dot Studio Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar

The Epiphone Dot Studio semi-hollow electric guitar is an unbelievable bargain at $269. You’re going to have trouble finding another hollow or semi-hollow guitar in this price range, and the quality of this guitar is excellent. The body and neck of this guitar are both made from mahogany, which provides a rich resonance that is great for jazz, blues, fusion, and soft rock among others. This guitar is well built with the kind of high quality fixtures I have come to expect from Epiphone.

Epiphone EM-2 Prophecy Custom EX Review

Epiphone EM-2 Prophecy Custm Electric Guitar

The Epiphone EM-2 Prophecy Custom is a top-notch choice for those looking for a meaner sounding guitar. This solid basswood guitar features a maple neck with a 24 fret fingerboard with a unique SpeedTaper neck profile making it great for shredding, and the C cutaway body design gives uninhibited access to every fret. The finish on this guitar is gorgeous, and it comes in a standard version, as well as one with a Floyd Rose tremolo bar making it ideal for vibrato. I was pleased with the pickups, but I felt they were the weak point on an otherwise amazing guitar.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Review

Epiphone Les Paul Standard

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus is one of the higher end Epiphone LPs and it definitely shows. Like the rest of the Epiphone LPs, the build quality of this Standard Plus is superb with a solid mahogany body, set mahogany neck (not bolt-on here), and a superb rosewood fingerboard. The hardware on this guitar is also great and the alnico humbuckers that come with this guitar give that smooth, rich sound that the Les Paul is famous for.
